Mrs. Ruth Mae Johnson Mote, age 91, of Bremen passed away Saturday, October 20, 2012. Mrs. Mote was born in Gwinnett County on February 26, 1921. She was the daughter of the late Jesse James Johnson and the late Ida Brown Johnson. Mrs. Mote was a homemaker. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Mote; three children, D.C. Ewing, Thomas Ewing and Betty Ewing; and one brother, J.C. Johnson.

Survivors include one daughter, Jeanette English of Bremen; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Harold and Martha Ewing of Oxford, GA, Charles Ewing of Suwanee and Robert and Karen Ewing of Suwanee; one sister, Lucille McGuire of Villa Rica; two brothers and sisters-in-law, J.T. and Joyce Johnson of Hiram and Roy Lee and Nadene Johnson of Carrollton; a number of grandchildren including Dolly Ann Gonzales and Patricia Goss; a number of great grandchildren and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 22, 2012 at 4:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tommy George officiating. Interment will follow in Little Vine Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 11:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M.
