Mrs. Ruth Sanders Eaves, age 90, of 4434 Hwy. 120, Buchanan passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2008. Mrs. Eaves was born in Haralson County on May 12, 1918. She was the daughter of the late Homer Sanders and the late Grace Edwards Sanders. Mrs. Eaves was retired from Cluett, Peabody and Company in Buchanan where she worked as a seamstress. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Bell and Lillian Johnson; and four brothers, Marvin Sanders, Harold Sanders, H.C. Sanders and Porter Sanders. Survivors include her husband, Lowell E. Eaves of Buchanan, two sons, Charles Eaves of Buchanan and Paul Eaves of Buchanan; one sister, Margaret Kimball of Pensacola, FL; one brother, John Sanders of Weedowee, AL; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, September 5, 2008 at 4:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Danny Hutcheson and Rev. Randy Rooks officiating. Music will be rendered by Kersha Cartwright accompanied by Beleta Anderson. Interment will follow in the Buchanan City Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Vance Posey, David Edwards, Trent Roberts, Chip Eaves, Robert Eaves and Franklin Kay. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
