Ruenell Lindsay Byrd, age 44 of Rockmart, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. She was born on June 15, 1981, to Shannon Lorain Lindsay and Milford Christopher Nichols.

Lindsay was a kind-hearted woman who found joy in taking care of other people.  In her quiet time she loved to read and was gifted in writing poems.  Lindsay loved spending time with her family.  Her beautiful heart and loving personality will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, David Alan Byrd, Sr.; children, Augusta Langley and Zachary Yanis, David Byrd, Jr. and Luke Byrd; siblings, Erin Ellen and Robert Anthony Falb, Erica Lorain Nichols and Andrew Steven Lester, and Clayton Christopher Nichols and Jennifer Ann Cahall; grandchildren, Valeria Soray Yanis and Emiliano Miguel Yanis and several other relatives and friends.

In keeping with the family's wishes she will be cremated.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
