Mr. Roy William Steele, Sr., age 58, of Buchanan passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015.  Mr. Steele was born in Warner Robins, Georgia on January 15, 1957.  He was the son of the late Jerrell William Steele and the late Gladys Marie Hicks Steele.  Mr. Steele was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was an electrical contractor.

Survivors include his wife, Jill Rowell Steele of Buchanan; two daughters and one son-in-law, Jessica and Allen King of Carrollton and Georgia Steele of Treat Mountain; five sons and four daughters-in-law, Jason and Melissa Steele, Roy William and Christina Steele, Jr. and Ricky and Kristi Steele all of Gainesville, Bobby and Raven Hill and Chris Hill all of Buchanan; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn and Mike Key of White and Ginger and Vance Wood of Dawsonville; and a number of grandchildren and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Bro. Ernie Robinson officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
