Mr. Roy Keith Abercrombie, age 62, of Tallapoosa passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016.  Mr. Abercrombie was born in Atlanta, Georgia on October 9, 1953.  He was preceded in death by his parents; L.M. Abercrombie and Katie McElroy Spate and one sister; Joy Heuer.

Mr. Abercrombie was a member of West View Baptist Church in Tallpoosa.  He was a 1974 graduate of Cave Spring School for the Deaf.

Survivors include one sister and brother-in-law; Phyllis and Larry Williamson of Bremen and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. from Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Alton Stamey officiating.  In keeping with Mr. Abercrombie's wishes he was cremated.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
