Ms. Roxie Lee Pitts Keaton McCoy, age 60, of 125 Waterworks Rd., Bremen passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2009. Ms. McCoy was born in Haralson County on August 3, 1948. She was the daughter of the late Robert Stonewall Pitts and the late Era Adel McCarley Pitts. Ms. McCoy was employed by Stitch America. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Vickie Keaton of Bremen and Debbie and Chris Brown of Gulf Shores, AL; one son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Lisa Keaton of Bremen; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Faye Pitts of Bremen; six grandchildren, Milinda Keaton, Shawn Keaton, Rayven Ellard, Madison Ellard, Christopher Brown, and Lauren Brown. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 3, 2009 at 4:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Travis Pritchard and Danny Hutcheson. Interment will follow in the District Line United Methodist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Chris Brown, Michael Craft, Russell Pitts, Justin Fincham, Christopher Brown and Rayven Ellard. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
