Mr. Ross Oliver Kinney, age 56, of Rockmart passed away Monday, March 28, 2011. Mr. Kinney was born in Rome, Georgia on March 26, 1955. Mr. Kinney was the son of the late Hubby Lee Kinney and the late Ada Elizabeth Kinney. He was a retired carpenter. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Kevin Ross Kinney. Survivors include his wife, Susan Swann Kinney of Rockmart; two daughters and one son-in-law, Jodie and Bobby Williams of Bremen and Courtney Kinney of Rockmart; one grandchild, Keaven Lynn Lowman Kinney; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. from Piney Woods Baptist Church with Rev. David McKenzie and Rev. Jeff Bird officiating. Interment will follow in the Piney Woods Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Vernon Peterson, Robert Wien, Stephen Wien, Corey Cash, Casy Cohran and Chris Holcombe. The body will lie in state and the family will receive friends at Piney Woods Baptist Church from Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 5:00 P.M. until Wednesday, March 30, 3011 at 3:00 P.M. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
