Ms. Rosie Mae Thompson Williams, age 67, of 112A Maple Dr., Buchanan passed away Thursday, December 17, 2009. Ms. Williams was born in Atlanta on November 21, 1942. She was the daughter of the late J.C. Thompson and the late Martha Carter Thompson. Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Tullock of Buchanan and Robin Hayes of Buchanan; one son, Timothy Glenn Williams of Macon; two sisters, Barbara Lyles of Waco and Linda Caldwell of Buchanan; three brothers, Donnie Thompson of Tallapoosa, Gordon Thompson of Rockmart and James Thompson of Rockmart; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 20, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Layton officiating. Interment will follow in the Buchanan City Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Donald Terrell, Abel Granados, Michael Cook, Christopher Williams, Dakota Cook and Robert Edwards.
