Mr. Ronald Ira Williams, age 67, of Buchanan passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2012. Mr. Williams was born in Bremen on October 9, 1944. He was the son of the late Nathaniel J. Williams and the late Eula Marie Brooks Williams. Mr. Williams was of the Christian Faith and was retired from Lockheed. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Hetling and an infant brother.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Goldin Williams of Buchanan; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Randy Williams of Buchanan, Scott and Allison Williams of Temple and Steve and Sabrina Williams of Bremen; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Roy and Sara Williams of Tallapoosa and Allen and Ellen Williams of Buchanan; four grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Wendell Rush officiating. Music will be rendered by Rev. Buddy Gentry. Interment will follow in Edwards Cemetery, Buchanan.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
