Obituary

Ronald "Ronnie" Huddleston, 58, passed away Friday, November 7, 2014 in his home in Carrollton, Georgia. He suffered from throat cancer but passed from heart related causes.


Ronnie was born to Robert and Mina Cook Huddleston on January 26, 1956 at Camp Pendleton, California. He lived in many states, but often found his way home to Georgia. He spent time in both South Korea and Japan, while serving his country in the United States Army. Ronnie was enlisted from 1976- 1985; and he was discharged as a Sergeant.


Ronnie enjoyed fishing; especially with his brothers. He also loved riding motorcycles. Although he sometimes went off the straight, and narrow path; he kept his family close to his heart. He spent the last chapter of his life taking care of his twin brother, and being cared for himself by his sister.


Ronnie is survived by his siblings: Carol Petty (Barry Petty), Donald "Donnie" Huddleston, Rickey Huddleston (Susan Huddleston), and Tony Huddleston; his children: Robert Huddleston (Joanna Huddleston), Heather Morse (Brian Morse), and Erin Perkins (McKenzie Perkins); his 5 grandchildren, 7 nephews/nieces, and many great nephews and nieces. He was pre-deceased by his parents and his sister Brenda Deese.


Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel and Crematory in Buchanan, Georgia is in charge of the cremation. The family would like to thank Danny Hutcheson and Terry Sorrells for all their support during this time.


Ronnie's ashes will be laid to rest in the family plot at Sardis Baptist Church (Bowdon, Georgia) on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 11 am. There will be a small, graveside service at this time.
