Ron was born September 6, 1958 to James and Barbara (Pomranz) in Highland Park, Michigan. After graduating from High School, Ron joined the Navy. Upon returning home from service, he worked as a welder for many years and made a new home in Atlanta over 20 years ago.

Ron was an avid animal lover and loved spending time with his family.

Ron was preceded in death by his father James, brother Donald, niece Jennifer and both sets of grandparents. Surviving are is mother Barbara of Mackinaw City, MI, special friend Jane, siblings Carol Park of Kissimmee, FL, Richard (Patricia) Holland of Brandon, FL, Cathy (Bruce) Ealy of East Pointe, MI, Judith (Steven) of Springfield, MO, Jill (Brian) Tambeau of Clinton Twp, MI and David (Jamie) Holland of Springfield, MO. 18 nieces and nephews and 25 great nieces and nephews.
