Roger Terry Watson, age 61 of Villa Rica, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022, in a local hospital.  He was born in Cordele, GA, to the late Benny Lee Watson and the late Finnie Folk Ballard.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters, Carol Watson and Faye Green, and brothers Virgil Watson and Carl Watson.  Roger loved watching the Georgia Bulldogs play and was a faithful attendee of Happy Valley Baptist Church in Villa Rica.

Survivors include his fiance' Stephanie Githens; sisters, Betty Gilbert and Mary Ann Cross; a brother, Johnny Lee Watson; and a number of nieces and nephew, and other family members and friends.

In accordance with Roger's wishes, he will be cremated.

The family will host a  memorial service for Roger Watson on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Happy Valley Baptist Church in Villa Rica.
