Mr. Roger Greg Summerour, age 60 of Buchanan, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 6, 2022.  He was born in Marietta, GA, on July 29, 1961 to parents Edward and Wynell Summerour.  Greg is preceded in death by his father, Edward Summerour; a sister, Patricia Puckett; six brothers, Bobby Summerour, Jerry Summerour, James Summerour, Richard Summerour, Donny Summerour, and Glen Erwin; and his step-father, Kenneth Baggett.  Going to church and watching sports were two of Greg's favorite things to do .He was a devoted member of Welcome Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Anne Summerour of Buchanan; his daughter, Cassie Summerour; his son, David Summerour; his step-son, Michael (Brittany) Wix; mother, Wynell Baggett; a sister, Ranee Williams; three brothers, David Summerour, Gary Erwin, and Wayne Erwin; and a number of nieces and nephews and other family..

The family will host a memorial service for Roger Greg Summerour at Welcome Baptist Church 598 Hamrick Rd. Bremen, GA 30110 at 2:30 PM on March 13, 2022 with Pastor Johnny Holcombe officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery .
