Robin Gregory Morris, age 58 of Tallapoosa, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2026, after battling kidney disease for most of his life. Born in Carrollton, Georgia, on January 22, 1968, he was the son of the late Curtis Morris and the late Dorothy Walker Morris.
A gifted musician from an early age, Robin shared his talent playing the bass guitar in several bands. "Shooter 6" was one of his first bands, and they played in local sports bars, at local events and at venues with one of his favorite venues being Helen. Robin was also a part of the band "PMO." His last years playing the bass was with the band "Groove Gypsies." Music was a huge part of Robin's life, as was taking care of his fur babies, Luna, Zoey, and Brody. Robin also worked for many years at Print Pak. Family was important to Robin, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Kada Hammond Morris; his siblings and their spouses, Kathy & Harold Payton of Villa Rica, Steve Morris of Carrollton, and Wayne & Fiona Morris of Bremen; and his God daughter, Toshia Miller and his God son, Tray Floyd. Also surviving are his precious nieces and nephews: Holly, Tara, D.J., Karissa, Jeremy, Emily, Mary, Nicki, Brianne, and Brandi; his father-in-law, Walter & Jackie Hammond; his sister-in-law, Kim & Chris Rampy; along with many fans and friends.
Funeral services for Robin Morris will be conducted at 4:00 PM on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel. He will be laid to rest next to his mother at the Carrollton City Cemetery.
In honor of Robin's love for music, the family asks that you wear your favorite rock-n-roll t-shirt to his services.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
