Mr. Robert Noland Wilson, Sr., age 52, of Cedartown (formerly of Tallapoosa) passed away Saturday, December 17, 2011. Mr. Wilson was born in Dallas, Texas on October 19, 1959. He was the son of the late James Eugene Wilson and Ollie Beatrice Price Wilson.

Survivors include two daughters, Nikki Wilson and Tiffany Wilson both of Tallapoosa; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Bobby Wilson Jr., Blake and Nikki Wilson and Ryan Wilson all of Tallapoosa; five sisters and three brothers-in-law, Sandee Elliott of Tallapoosa, Shirley and Buddy Farmer of Buchanan, Wanda Edwards and Ricky Cook of Cedartown. Betty Myers of Tallapoosa and Elaine Wilson and Tommy Baggett of Tallapoosa; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Jesse and Sue Wilson of Tallapoosa, James and Beth Wilson of Tallapoosa, Rex Wilson of Cedartown and Joel and Tonya Wilson of Bremen; six grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. from Emmanuel Baptist Church, Tallapoosa with Rev. Barry Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, Cedartown with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Allen Sheets, Chris Wright, Dennis Timms, Jefferey Puckett, Jamie Queen, Danny Burgess and Stacey Goodwin.

The remains will lie in state at the Church from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M.

The family will receive friends at the family residence, 819 Williamson Road, Tallapoosa, GA 30176 from 5:00 P.M. Monday, December 19, 2011 until 12:00 Noon Tuesday, December 20, 2011.
