Robert "Roby" Brown, age 59 of Bremen, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025, in a local hospital.  Born in Rome, Georgia, on November 27, 1965, he was the son of Glynda White Brown and the late Randall Wayne Brown.  In addition to his father, Roby is preceded in death by his grandparents, Hulette and Ruth White and Bonnie Acree, and his uncle, Roger White.

A 1984 graduate of Bremen High School, Roby completed an A.S. degree in Business at West Georgia Technical College. He spent many hours watching all types of sports, and he remained a die-hard Auburn Tiger football fan, win or lose.  A life-long learner, he searched to learn something new every day.  Cooking was one of Roby's favorite pastimes, and he was an expert on the grill. Whether listening to music or soaking in the hot tub, he always found a way to relax.  Roby loved his family and will be dearly missed by them.

Those left to cherish his memory include, as Roby would say, "The woman who made him the happiest man alive," his wife, Tammy Garland-Brown of Bremen; his mother, Glynda Brown of Bremen, his sister and brother-in-law, Amy & Steven O'Neal of Bremen; his step-son, Chad Garland of Bremen; and step-daughter and son-in-law, Amber & Bryan Kilgore of Buchanan.  Also surviving are his nephews, Cole O'Neal, Chip O'Neal and Cam O'Neal; step-grandchildren; Cinceya Garland, Summer Garland, Kypton Kilgore, and Karlee Kilgore; his father-in-law, Bobby Hicks; his aunt, Joyce "McSassy" Vollrath; and his many friends.

In keeping with Roby's wishes, he will be cremated. No service is planned at this time.
