Mr. Robert Paul Eaves, age 67 of Buchanan, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021, in a local hospital.  He was born May 5, 1953, to the late Lowell and Ruth Sanders Eaves.  Paul was retired from General Motors.  He loved all things '80's and enjoyed playing cards and watching TV.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Gilley Eaves, and his only sibling, Charles Eaves, died the day following Paul's death, May 2, 2021.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Sunshine Eaves of Buchanan; grandchildren, Grace and Braelyn Eaves; step-son, Terry Gilley of Villa Rica; and several other relatives.

Funeral services for Paul Eaves will be conducted Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at 2:00 PM from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rocky Rochester officiating.  Interment will follow in the Buchanan City Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Chip Eaves, Hudson Roberts, Trent Roberts, Doyle Williams Sr., Wesley Dees, Jonathan Payton.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 4th, from 6:00 until 9:00 PM and on Wednesday from noon until 2:00 PM
