Mr. Robert Franklin King, Sr., age 90, of Bremen passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016.  Mr. King was born in Riverside, Alabama on June 24, 1925.  He was the son of the late James Benjamin King and the late Susan Ella Hailey King.  Mr. King was retired from Sewell Manufacturing Company.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Robert Franklin King, Jr. and a number of brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel Simpson King of Bremen; one grandchild, Jennifer King of Bremen; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 5, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with John Ballenger, Patty Hutcheson and Danny Hutcheson officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Gary Simpson, Jaycen Simpson, Joseph Simpson, Steve Ballenger, John Ballenger, Buddy Cornwell and Terry Carden.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday afternoon from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 P.M.
