Mr. Robert Lee Burner, age 52, of 423 Little Joe Rd., Bowdon passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2009. Mr. Burner was born in Rockingham County, Virginia. Survivors include his wife, Terrie Howard of Bowdon; four sons, Shane William Head of Mableton, Christopher Lee Howard of Bowdon, Anthony Robert Burner of Bowdon and James Patrick of Bowdon; four brothers, Dwight Hawse of Broadway, VA, Jerry Hawse of PA, Linden Hawse of PA and Darlene Burner of PA; grandmother, Ruby Buhl of Broadway, VA; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be conducted Thursday, August 27, 2009 at 6:00 P.m. from Sardis Baptist Church in Bowdon with Rev. Grant Huff officiating. The body was cremated. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
