Mrs. Rita Gail Stephens Musick, age 72 of Carrollton, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020. She was born on February 13, 1948 in Atlanta to the late William Roy Stephens and the late Geneva Taylor Stephens. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Janice Shackelford.

Survivors include her husband, William Michael Musick of Carrollton; her son and daughter-in-law, Tony Michael and Sharon Musick of Lowell; three sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Martha and Jim Coffey of Fruithurst, AL, Judy Davis of Newnan, Martha Weston of Newnan, Lee Shackelford of Carrollton and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family gives a special thanks to Kindred Hospice and Dr. Joseph Jellicorse for the good care they gave to Rita.

In keeping with her wishes she will be cremated.

The family will host a memorial service at a later date.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan has charge of the cremation arrangements.
