Mr. Ricky Lee Parrish, age 63, of Tallapoosa passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016.  Mr. Parrish was born in Charleston, West Virginia on May 20, 1952. He was the son of the late Robert Woodrow Parrish and the late Helen Ruth Brown Parrish.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Jane Parrish; and two brothers, Steve Parrish and Robert Parrish.

Survivors include his wife, Vickie L. Smith of Tallapoosa; one daughter, Amanda Smith of Tallapoosa; two sons, Sonny Smith and Charles Smith both of Tallapoosa; three sisters, Reba Jean Clark of San Antonio, FL, Deborah Allen and Drema Odell both of Cedartown; one brother Joseph Parrish of Tallapoosa; two grandchildren, Dusty Smith and Mackinzley Smith; and a number of other relatives.

Private memorial services will be conducted at a later date.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
