Rickie Allen Hayward, Jr., age 38, of Buchanan passed away suddenly on March 31, 2020. He was born on April 14, 1981 to Viola Mae Justice. He is preceded in death by his father, James F. Justice.

He loved fishing, going to Walmart, muddin', big trucks, Hank Williams, Sr. and playing guitar, but most of all he loved life and his family. You would almost say Rickie had a one-on-one with God; he loved the Lord and especially his Church family, Cowboy Church, and Preacher Mike.  Rickie was always up for a challenge!

Survivors include his mother, Viola Mae Justice, one sister, Melissa Gillstrap of Temple; two brothers, Justin and Katie Hayward of Dallas and James and Kim Justice of Temple; five nieces and nephews, Jay Justice, Marie Justice, Danielle Gillstrap, Terry Smith, Alyssa Handy and several other relatives and friends.

In keeping with the family's wishes, he will be cremated.
