Mr. Richard Allen Bailey, age 69, of Cedartown, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2019. He was born on October 1, 1950 in Chattanooga, TN to the late Johnny Bailey and the late Peggy Ratcliff Wycoff. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Lynn Horton and two brothers, Johnny David Bailey and Charles Lee Riddle.

He served in the Marine Corp during The Vietnam War. He also enjoyed spending time with family.

Survivors include his wife, Shelia Dingler Bailey of Cedartown; one sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl (Brian) Peters of Ringgold and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In keeping with Mr. Bailey's wishes he will be cremated.

The family will host a memorial service on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Second Baptist Church, 152 Evergreen Lane, Cedartown, GA 30125. They will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the service hour.
