Richard Ray Allen, age 58 of Rome, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. He was born on September 27, 1966, to the late Eugene Francis Allen and the late Sue Simpson Allen. In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by a brother Darryl Allen.

Survivors include his wife Georgetta Crowson Duncan of Rome; children, Eddie Allen of Brunswick and Thomas Allen of Rome, Maranda Inman of Texas and Roy Inman of South Carolina; sister, Linda Johns of Texas; brother, Timothy Allen and Jackie of Brunswick and Greg Allen of Jesup; grandchildren, Joey Allen, Madison Inman, Elizabeth Finnell and Caden Finnell; great grandchild, Cooper Gatewood and several other relatives and friends.

In keeping with the family's wishes, Richard was cremated.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
