Ms. Rhonda Suzanne Thornton Carter, age 53, of Cedartown, formerly of Buchanan, passed away Friday, August 25, 2017.  Ms. Carter was born in Bremen, Georgia, on November 19, 1963.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Whitney and Harry White of Bremen; parents, Boyce and Johnnie Sue Jackson Thornton of Buchanan; one sister, Julie Finleyson of Carrollton; nephews, Taylor Finleyson and Zack Finelyson; aunts and uncles, Verla Thornton, Brenda and Jimmy Waters, Joan Sanders, and Carol and Bobby Thornton; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bill Brown officiating.  Music will be rendered by Bill and Carol Brown.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M.
