Mr. Rex Anderson, age 83, of 3920 Bright Star Rd., Douglasville passed away Sunday, October 12, 2008. Mr. Anderson was born on October 1, 1925 in Monrovia, California. He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. Tracy Forest Anderson and Ella Jovita Everette; brothers, Charles Fawcett, Everett Anderson, Ralph Anderson and Raymond Anderson and sisters, Marjorie Fawcett, Betty Batterton, Ella Anderson and Lorraine Smith. Mr. Anderson was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in WWII, The Korean War and Vietnam Conflict.

Survivors include his wife, Madge Anderson of Douglasville; daughter Linda Anderson of Douglasville; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Joyce Anderson of Douglasville; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren, with a host of other relatives surviving.

Memorial service will be conducted Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Douglasville Ward with Bishop David Wade officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church Thursday October 16, 2008 from 6 until 7 P.M.
