Rev. Larry Eugene Vincent, age 62, of Temple passed away Monday, September 9, 2013. Rev. Vincent was born in Douglas County on April 29, 1951. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a minister having last served as the interim pastor of Salem Baptist Church in Tallapoosa. Mr. Vincent was preceded in death by his father, Marshall Eugene Vincent.

Survivors include his wife, Doris McElroy Vincent of Temple; one daughter and son-in-law, Jennie and Reese Osborne of Dallas; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Marshall and Teresa Vincent of Carrollton, Larry Vincent, Jr. of Temple and Jimmy Lowe of Evansville, IN; mother, Cassie Sibyl Taylor Vincent of Newnan; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Melvin Perry of Carrollton and Jennifer Dean of Newnan; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Frank and Pat Vincent of Heard County, Donald Vincent of Eatonton and Bobby Vincent of Covington; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Steve Jones, Rev. Ken Pace and Rev. Bill Boazman officiating. Music will be rendered by Rev. Ken Pace and Bo Kee. Interment will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Temple. Military honors will be provided by the Haralson County Veterans Association.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
