Mr. Reginald Lamar Cook, age 62, of 754 Hwy. 27 North, Bremen passed away Saturday, July 11, 2009. Mr. Cook was born in Haralson County on June 12, 1947. He was the son of the late Victor Lamar Cook and the late Lucille Duncan Cook. Mr. Cook was a former Haralson County Deputy Sheriff and was retired from the Security Dept. at Lockheed/Martin. Survivors include a daughter and caregiver, Deigh Ann Prewett of Bremen; one son, Ronnie Cook of Cartersville; one sister, Barbara Norton; special friend and caregiver, Donna Johnson of Buchanan; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Danny Hutcheson officiating. Interment will follow in the Buchanan City Cemetery. Merle Calhoun, Dennis Jones, Sherry Trame, Jamie Byrum, Kenny Hall and Dean Tanner. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
