Mrs. Reedis Gearldine "Gerri" Houston Killough, age 83 of Tallapoosa, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019. She was born on October 31, 1935 in Tallapoosa to the late Joseph Andrew Houston and the late Beulah Carter Houston. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by two husbands, George Clifton Killough, Sr. of 52 years and Victor Conrad of 2 years; three sisters, Bernice Ledbetter, Thelma Lenski, Othella Ledbetter and one brother, William Andrew Houston.

Survivors include her daughter, Sally Killough Lewis of Tallapoosa; son and daughter-in-law George "Butch" Clifton (Deborah) Killough of Tallapoosa; six grandchildren, Jaime (Adam) Suitts, Jennifer Halstead, Kelly Pettit-Harding, Cherokee Haley, George Houston Killough and Jorjette Haley Killough; three great grandchildren, Jeremy Halstead, Andrew Halstead, William "Liam" Suitts and several other relatives and friends.

There will be a visitation on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM.

In keeping with Mrs. Killough's wishes she will be cremated after the visitation.
