Mrs. Rebecca Lynn Paxton Wall, age 42 of Buchanan, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2022, after a valiant fight with glioblastoma.  She was born on May 26, 1980,  in Rochester, Minnesota, to parents Gordon Paxton and the late Theresa Benike Paxton.  Becca held a bachelor's degree, master's degree and Education Specialist degree from Georgia State University. She taught special needs children in Douglas County, and just recently retired from the Paulding County School System.  Enjoying being outdoors, Becca loved gardening and tending the animals, especially her goats.  But her passion was her family.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Chad Wall, children Lillian Theresa Wall, Evelyn Olivia Wall, and William Thomas Henderson Wall of Buchanan; her father, Gordon Paxton of Buchanan; her sisters, Emily Ann Paxton of Buchanan, and Elizabeth Paxton of Villa Rica; her brothers McClain Paxton and Garrett Paxton of Villa Rica; as well as a nephew, Ethan Voung.

Funeral services for Rebecca Wall will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 9, 2022, from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home, and on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour.   Becca will be laid to rest in the family cemetery in Buchanan following the service.
