Mr. Ray Richardson, age 88, of Marietta passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016.  Mr. Richardson was born in Hazard, Kentucky on May 30, 1928.  He was the son of the late William Richardson and the late Anna Laws Richardson.  Mr. Richardson was a retired HVAC technician for Sears.

Survivors include his wife Joann Smothers Richardson; daughter, Debra Jo Richardson; son, Larry Richardson; grandchildren, Brandon Malwitz, Ryan Richardson, Michael Richardson and Jarrod Richardson; and a number of relatives.

Funeral arrangements in Benton, Illinois will be announced.
