Mr. Ray "Jack" Jackson Thompson, age 78, of Bremen passed away Monday, September 7, 2015.  Mr. Thompson was born in Buchanan, Georgia on November 6, 1936.  He was the son of the late Marion Thompson and the late Dessie Smith Thompson.  Mr. Thompson was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was a retired heavy equipment operator.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Pearl Rainey Thompson.

Survivors include one daughter, Jackie Clayton of Bowdon; two sisters, Peggy Ott and Mabel Thompson; one brother, Stoney Thompson; two grandchildren, Kevin Clayton and Eli Thompson; one great grandchild, Broly Thompson; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. from the graveside at Littlevine Cemetery in Bremen with Rev. Lawrence Robinson officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday morning from 9:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M.
