Randall Lee Mixon, age 72 of Tallapoosa, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2020. He was born on November 17, 1947 in Tallapoosa to the late Wallace Robert Mixon and the late Charlsie Louise Posey Mixon. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by two children, Brett Mixon and Melanie Mixon and a brother Mark Mixon.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Williams Mixon of Tallapoosa; four children, Tracy and Toby Duncan of Centralhatchee, Randall Mixon, Jr. of Stone Mountain, Rhett Mixon of Stone Mountain and Ryan Mixon of Tallapoosa; sisters, Elaine and Jerry Chandler of Tallapoosa and Debbie and James of Mt. Zion and several grandchildren and great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

In keeping with Randall's wishes he will be cremated.

The family will host a memorial service on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Bethel Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Reverend Van Brown officiating.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan has charge of the cremation arrangements.
