Mr. Randall Jackson Griffis, age 45, of 218 McKibben Rd., Felton passed away Thursday, June 10, 2010. Mr. Griffis was born in Polk County on December 15, 1964. He was the son of the late Garland Jackson Griffis and Mattie Mae McKibben Griffis of Felton. Mr. Griffis was a logger. Survivors include his mother, Mattie Mae McKibben Griffis of Felton; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Becky and Ricky Weaver of Felton and Juanita Benefield of Felton; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 13, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. from Dugdown Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Hudgens and Rev. Richard Brannon officiating. Interment will follow in the Centre Baptist Church Cemetery, Felton with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Eric Benefield, Ricky Weaver, Perry Weaver, Wally McCollum, Shawn Kemp and Ricky Boatright. Serving as honorary pallbeaers will be: Nick Nichols and Roger Davis. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
