Rachel Michelle Westmoreland McClenton, age 50 of Douglasville, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024, in an area hospital.  Born in Austell, Georgia, on December 6, 1973, she was the daughter of Ruby Geraldine Traylor and the late Richard Eugene Westmoreland.

Rachel enjoyed traveling and spending time at the beach or the mountains.  Her favorite time, though, was spending time with her family. Rachel adored her children and grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Amanda Knowles and Samantha Cotton; her sons, Dustin McClenton and Joshua McClenton; and her mother Ruby Geraldene Traylor.  Also surviving are her sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda & Joseph Bozeman, Shannon Westmoreland, Ann & Shane Cook and Buffy & Michael Willis; her brothers and sister-in-law, David & Vicki Westmoreland and Michael Westmoreland; her twelve grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Rachel McClenton will be conducted Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 3:00 (GA Time), from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Johnny Payne officiating.

The family will receive friend at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour.
