Mrs. Phyllis Lee McKibben Dennis, age 71, of Buchanan passed away Monday, October 5, 2015.  Mrs. Dennis was born in Haralson County, Georgia on April 3, 1944.  She was the daughter of the late Gordon Lee McKibben and the late Edna Walker McKibben Hudgens.  Mrs. Dennis was a homemaker.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Eva Gable.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Dennis of Buchanan; one daughter and son-in-law, Jada and Bobby Parker of Waco; one son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Kelly Dennis of Rockmart; one sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Ralph Johnson of Buchanan; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dr. Ted and Myra Cash of Chickamauga; three grandchildren, Tyler Dennis, Cambryn Adams and Chandlee Parker; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, October 9, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Dr. Ted Cash and Danny Hutcheson officiating.  Interment will follow in Edwards Cemetery in Buchanan.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 12:00 Noon until 3:00 P.M.
