Phyllis Diane Abercrombie Williamson, age 76 of Bremen, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2024.  Born in Tallapoosa, Georgia, on January 14, 1948, she was the daughter of the late L.M. Abercrombie and the late Katie McElroy Spate.  In addition to her parents, Phyllis is preceded in death by her daughter, Tima McDow Chambers; her sister, Joy Marie Heuer; and her brother, Roy Abercrombie.

Phyllis loved  her family fiercely.  Nana's greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren. They enjoyed going to the lake and feeding the ducks.  Watching the Georgia Bulldogs play football was another favorite pastime. Phyllis will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 25 years, Larry Williamson of Bremen; her son and daughter-in-law, Corey & Natasha Evans of Villa Rica; and her precious grandchildren: Brittany Caldwell, Natalie (Jacob) Yates, and Courtney Evans.  Also surviving are two great-grandchildren, Easton Yates and Waylon Dickerson, as well as two more on the way; and niece Crystal Conway and nephew, Deric Jiles.

The family will host a celebration of Nana's life on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 2:00 PM at J. Collins Funeral Home in Villa Rica.  They will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

Cremations services have been entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
