Mr. Phillip Martin Richards, age 40, of Bremen passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011. Mr. Richards was born in Carroll County on February 10, 1971. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Mary Morris Richards; and one brother, Travis Richards.

Survivors include one daughter, Kimberly Richards of Rockmart; one step-daughter, Keagan Sparks of Rockmart; sister, Patricia Chriswell of Bremen; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Randy Rooks and Danny Hutcheson officiating. Music will be rendered by Josh Worthy and Jordan Murdock. Interment will follow in Buchanan City Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Phillip Payton, Craig Rutherford, Joey Rutherford, Terry Parker, David Coy and Donnie Winfield.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
