Perry Eugene Glasgow, age 66 of Buchanan, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024.  Born on January 30, 1958, in San Antonio, Texas, to the late Marion "Marty" Louis Glasgow and the late, Avis Louise HIght Glasgow.  In addition to his parents, Perry is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Daniel Maclean.

Perry had a Public Servant's heart.  He had spent many years in public service beginning as a Paramedic, Firefighter and moving into law enforcement.  Perry worked as an Investigative Lieutenant for Polk County and Haralson County Sheriff's Departments.  He completed his law enforcement career as a Sergeant with the Buchanan City Police Department.  Many will remember Perry and Teresa from their days with KJ Perry G hosting karaoke on Saturday nights at Los Cowboys.  Another passion of Perry's was building and flying unmanned aerial vehicles, drones.  He was skilled at working with his hands building almost anything and working on computers.  He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 31 years, Teresa Tolbert Glasgow; his daughters and sons-in-law, Samantha & Jonathan Pope of Buchanan, Alicia & Aaron Cook of Dallas;  his son and daughter-in-law, Shea and Ashleigh Tolbert of Aragon; and his sisters and brother-in-law, Nancy & Billy Hicks of Dallas, and Linda Maclean of Dallas.  Also surviving are his precious grandchildren, Taylor Pope, Wyatt Tolbert, Elijah Tolbert, Tyler Ashworth, and Alexis Ashworth; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services for Perry Glasgow will be conducted on Wednesday, August 28 at 3:00 PM from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel  with Rev. Blake Terry officiating.  Interment will follow at Sardis Church Cemetery in Rockmart with Josh Worthy officiating and the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Chad Fortune, William Hicks, Jeremy Graham, Sean McEntire, Stacy Myers, and Eric Pike.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the funeral home from Noon until 3:00 PM
