Mrs. Penny Laniece Faulkner Worthy, age 51, of Carrollton passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012. Mrs. Worthy was born in Carrollton on August 4, 1960. She was the daughter of the late William Leslie Faulkner and the late Bonnie Johnson Faulkner. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Polly Walker; and one brother, Charles Brand.

Survivors include her husband Donny Worthy of Carrollton; two sons, Chad Worthy of Carrollton and Ryan Worthy of Carrollton; one step-daughter, Kristy Biggs of Villa Rica; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Lawrence and Bobbie Brand of Centre, AL, Freddie and Denise Faulkner of Carrollton and Lamar and Sheral Faulkner of Lithia Springs; eight grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 23, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Rodney Wilburn and Rev. Van Brown officiating. Music will be rendered by Danny Smith and James Dobbs. Interment will follow in Buchanan City Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Nick Burson, Lee Allen, Richard Acquaotta, Paul McEwen, Shane Cox and Tommy Vasaloski.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
