Ms. Peggy Jean Posey, age 56, of 95 Floyd Rd., Buchanan passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2009. Ms. Posey was born in Fulton County on May 27, 1953. She was the daughter of the late Roger Linton Posey and Margie Christine Rice Posey of Buchanan. Survivors besides her mother include two sisters and one brother-in-law, Cathy Ruth and Jonathan Cox of Dawsonville and Margie Nyland of Buchanan; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Gerald and Vickie Posey of Buchanan and Paul Posey of Buchanan; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. from Mountain View Baptist Church with Bro. Larry Verner officiating. Interment will follow in the Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
