Peggy Louise Carroll Houston, age 73 of Temple, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2020. She was born on July 31, 1947 to the late Albert Jewell Carroll and the late Ella Louise Fortenberry Carroll. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Houston; one brother, Gerald Carroll.

Survivors include one daughter, Angela Kay McElroy of Bremen; one son, Robert Anthony Houston of Temple; one sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Joey Holcomb of Summerville; four brothers, Ray Carroll of Temple, Timothy Carroll of Temple, Mark Carroll of Temple and Wayne Carroll of Temple; one grandson, Justin Tyler McElroy and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 4, 2020 from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel at 2:00 PM with Reverend Toby Powers officiating. Interment will follow in Piney Woods Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 Noon until the service hour.
