Mr. Paul Daniel Smith, age 90. of 233 Carrollton St., Buchanan passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2008. Mr. Smith was born in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania on December 11, 1917. He was the son of the late Peter Daniel Smith and the late Susan Cragle Smith. Mr. Smith was a retired chemist. Survivors include one son, Paul Daniel Smith, Jr. of Dallas, PA; one sister, Myrna Wharton of Carrollton; one grandchild; and a number of other relatives. The body will be cremated. Private graveside services will be conducted at a later date at the Rolling Hills Cemetery in Winter Haven, Florida. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
