Ms. Pamela Jan Gentry Norton, age 53, of Temple (Draketown Community) passed away Monday, February 8, 2016.  Ms. Norton was born in Carrollton, Georgia on April 16, 1962.  She was the daughter of the late Johnny Hoyt Gentry and the late Evelyn Cook Gentry.

Survivors include one daughter, Jennifer Norton of Temple; former husband, Michael Norton of Temple; one sister, Gail Barrett and her companion Joseph Linn of Anniston, AL; one brother, Dale Gentry and his wife Betty of Bowdon; two grandchildren, Alexis Norton and Kaleigh Norton; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 12, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel.  Interment will follow in Corinth Baptist Church, Bowdon.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
