Ollie Raymond Vines, age 80 of Bremen, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 30, 2025.  Born in Cedartown, Georgia, on August 31, 1945, he was the son of the late Troy Vines and the late Cindy Spivey Vines.  In addition to his parents, Ollie is preceded in death by his wife of more than 50 years, Nora Griffey Vines; a grandson, Michael Youngblood; and several brothers and sisters.

Ollie enjoyed watching TV.  His favorite things to watch were Fox News, NASCAR and his beloved Georgia Bulldogs.  Ollie adored spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  They were the light of his life.

His survivors include his daughters and son-in-law, Sabrina Athey of Bremen and Cindy Vines (Larry Snider) of Buchanan; his son and daughter-in-law, John Green (Mary) of Carrollton; and his brother, Troy Vines, Jr.  Also surviving are his precious grandchildren: Kimberly Green, Tammy Athey, Stephanie Green, Brandy (Kevin) Chandler, and T.J. Athey; his sweet great-granchildren: Jada, Neil, Memphis, Tripp, Myla, Kaiden, Kinzley, Khloe, and Paisley; as well as several other extended family members.

In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Vines will be cremated.
