Mr. Norman Mitchell Pope, age 63, of 511B McPherson Street, Bremen passed away Friday, October 16, 2009. Mr. Pope was born in Haralson County on May 25, 1946. He was the son of the late Howard Pope and the late Lois Shelnutt Pope. Mr. Pope was a construction laborer. Survivors include two daughters Sheila Pope and Patricia Pope; one son, David Pope; two sisters, Carol Holcombe and Janice Price; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, October 18, 2009 at 4:00 P.M. from Harmony Baptist Church in Bowdon Junction with Rev. Anthony Puckett officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
