Nellie Ruth Johnson Davis, age 77 of Aragon, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. Born on January 18, 1946, in Gadsden, AL, she was the daughter of the late Troy Thomas Johnson and the late Bernice Smith Nipper. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Othal Teddy Davis, and by several siblings.

Nellie took care of her family and loved them dearly.  She also loved her dogs and visiting the mountains.  However, her passion was shopping.  Nellie planned her shopping excursions for each  week  for different cities.

Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Pamela Mobley of Aragon and Beverly and Steve Harp of Canton; sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Amy Davis of Aragon, Craig and Mikala Davis of Buchanan, and Troy and Trisha Davis of Ellijay; nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and several other relatives and friends.

In keeping with Nellie's wishes she will be cremated.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
