Nathan Lamar Johnson, age 73 of Temple, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022. He was born in Haralson County on August 29, 1948 to the late Nathan Lawrence Johnson and the late Pearlie Thelma Wright. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Judy Dyer Johnson and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy and Terra Johnson of Villa Rica and Todd and Nikki Johnson of Temple; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and Timmothy Sumner of Marietta and Tara and Stephen Anderson of Rockmart; two sisters and brother-in-law, Thelma and Lowell Bush of Buchanan and Ivy Mae Dobbs of Temple; fourteen grandchildren, Dylan, Nick, Kirsten, Brandon, Hannah, Brittany, Bethany, Blake, Brenton, Luke, Ty, Joey, Brody and Macy; nine great grandchildren, Jaiselynn, Lily, Nevaeh, Gracelynn, Bristol, Luka, Robbie, Harrison, Ryleigh and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July 21, 2022 from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel at 11:00 AM with Reverend Phillip Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
