Nancy Joyce Elrod Ralls, age 74 of Rockmart, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024. She was born on October 13, 1949, to the late Randolph Elrod and the late Maggie Jane Tinsley Elrod. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Elrod Gravely, and two brothers, Randolph Elrod, Jr. and Lawrence Elrod.

Family was so important to Nancy.  She loved taking care of everyone, especially her husband, George, and her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.  Her hobbies included collecting angels and reading.  Nancy also loved to cook for her family and watch her soap operas.

Survivors include her husband, George Erwin Ralls of Rockmart; children, Kristi (Steven) Huffman of Rockmart, Darren (Betsy) Bollen of Gray, GA, Vicki Lea Ralls (Jay) Smith of Griffin, George Erwin Ralls, Jr. (Rebecca) of Bremen and Katrina Schiener of Indianapolis, IN; sister, Frankie (Russell) Darnell of Austell; brother, Joey Elrod of Alabama; grandchildren, Corey Huffman (Leah), Josh Huffman (Mickayla), Brittany Hudgins (Tyler), Wendy Audette, Jacob Audette, Aaron Dodson, Daniel Dodson, Megan Dodson, Nikki Brock, Haley McKellar, Michael Perdue, Chelsea Perdue, Brittney Perdue and Kayla Stroud; numerous great grand children and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, June 20, 2024, from Baptist Tabernacle Church at 4:00 PM. Interment will follow in Fellowship church cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Corey Huffman, Josh Huffman, Michael Elrod, George Ralls, Jr., Tyler Hudgins and Steve Huffman and honorary pallbearers are Noah Huffman and Jacob Audette.

The family will receive friends on Thursday at the church from 2:00 PM until the service hour.
