Mrs. Nancy Sue Hicks Davis, age 69, of Bowdon passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016.  Mrs. Davis was born in Bluff City, Tennessee on August 7, 1947.  She was the daughter of the late Edward Hicks and the late Nancy Singleton Hicks.  Mrs. Davis was a homemaker.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lamar Davis; two children, Christina Joell Davis and Pamela Jean Davis Horsley; two grandchildren, Steven Davis and Joshua Robert Davis; three sisters, Rachel Hicks McWhorter, Alice Fay Hicks Palmer and Marilyn Hicks Young; three brothers, Lonnie Hicks, George David Hicks and Timothy Norris.

Survivors include one daughter, Kathy Davis of Bowdon; two sons and daughters-in-law, Edward Lamar and Norma Davis and Jeffrey and Crystal Davis all of Bowdon; six grandchildren, Matthew Davis, Austin Davis, Edward Lamar Davis, II, Jeffry Dwayne Davis, Robert Luke Davis and Michael Horsley; four great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Horsley, Tabitha Horsley, Emily Horsley and Michael Junior Horsley; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 28, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ricky Shadrix officiating.  Interment will follow in Waco Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M.
